I’d like to open by saying how proud I am of Hunter’s Run and its membership.  It is a truly rewarding experience owning Hunter’s Run and engaging with the membership, who are a first class group of people.  Hopefully you’ve seen many positive changes at Hunter’s Run recently with many more to come.  Hunters run is pushing into a whole new era of shooting in the greater Baton Rouge area.  My commitments from day one to the club and to the membership were simple: quality clays, cold AC, cold beer, a friendly atmosphere, where everyone was welcome, and a clean facility.  At times we may have stumbled in fulfilling all those commitments, but we will continue in the pursuit to fulfill them as long as I own Hunter’s Run Gun Club.

As our sister clubs are closing, such as the New Orleans Gun Club, which was the oldest gun club in the state of Louisiana, and Cajun Elite, which was the largest land mass and most famous sporting clays club, Hunter’s Run is not only thriving, but expanding.  I will commit to bringing a quality club experience to now not only Baton Rouge, but also the state of Louisiana, as we push into this new era. Please warmly welcome all the shooters from these clubs who will now be joining our ranks.

I would also encourage you to tune into the TV show Son’s of Guns, which will air Friday night at 9 o’clock, and will feature my American Gun Company Mini Rifle that I designed, hold three patents on, and am producing.  This will be the historic rifle’s first time on TV or in public.

Please note we are also offering full-length lockers to members who will need them for a fee of $10 a month paid biannually.  I would also like to introduce you to our new website we have just launched.  It is an absolutely spectacular site designed and built by a talented graphic designer/web builder. This clearly will be the top shooting website in the country for your information and enjoyment.  Please come out to enjoy the club and relax.

Cheers and Safe Shooting,
Ron Duplessis

Please take a moment to review the club rules and code of conduct.
